Abseiling.Site.

We have a total of 16 sites in the Toa Payoh Central Community Club alone. Choose from low-rise 3-storey heights, all the way to 8-storey high from the rooftop. One of our sites has been specially selected because of its enclosed area with little working space. If you would like to borrow the place, special arrangements can be made.

Abseiling.Orientation.

If you're not sure what Abseiling is all about? Come join us for an orientation session and feel the rush of adrenalin as you perform your cliffhanger stance!

Abseiling.Level.I.

So you've decided to go for it. Our qualified and experienced instructors will be able to teach you the techniques of abseiling and getting to your destination safely. You will be tested on your knowledge and confidence level of abseiling.

Abseiling.Level.II.

So you can abseil now and it's getting a little boring. If you want something more challenging, this is the course to go for. You get to set up your own lines and improve your self-proficiency. Over and above abseiling, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the amchor system and techniques of self rescue.

Abseiling.Level.III.

Though we do not conduct the Abseiling Proficiency Course Level III here, we are happy to know that OBS does recognise the certificate issued by Toa Payoh Adventure Club. However, you would still be subject to an assessment of your APC2 skills and techniques before proceeding with APC3.

Abseiling.Expeditions.

This has to be the most exciting part of our abseiling programmes. However, there is a minimum pre-requisite for our abseiling expeditions, be it for waterfall canyoning, caving or just plain old abseiling expeditions. All interested participants should have attained at least an APCII and be proficient in the skills that are required. Prior to any trip, all participants should attend the trip briefing, as well as the refresher sessions. For the record, we have descended from the cliffs of Panti and down the waterfalls of Sungei Yong.
